By far, the most destructive and avoidable abuse of paper is caused by improper framing. With that in mind, we offer the latest and best methods for properly and carefully framing your artwork. We only use acid free matte boards. We also offer conservative reflection control glass and encapsulation for those priceless one-of-a-kind pieces.
Moldings
Choose from a wide selection of wood and metal moldings in many styles and colors. Every frame is underpinned and joined in such a way as to eliminate nail holes in the sides of the frame.
Mattes
Choose from an extensive assortment of mattes by Crescent, Bainbridge, and Artique in a variety of colors and textures to suit your every need. Custom mattes such as multiple opening, V-groove, oval / round, fabric wrapped, various shapes and French-line mattes are available.
Mounting
Conservation mounting techniques are highly recommended and used for all valuable items such as: original art, pen, pencil, charcoals, pastels, watercolors, investment pieces, limited edition prints, historical documents, antiques, sentimental artifacts, and items that may need to be in “mint condition” at a later date.
We also provide dry mounting and wet mounting services. Dry and wet mounting permanently adhere the image to a mounting substrate (backing board).
Not all glass is created equal.
